On a recent trip to New York we had a sublime dinner at La Mangeorie, a quiet French bistro on Manhattan’s upper East Side. We ordered Chef Christian Delouvrier, roast chicken. I love roast chicken and order it often, I find it is either amazing or just so-so. La Mangeorie’s chicken was crispy and golden brown, with a beautiful bronze like glow; created by basting it with a mixture of soy sauce and butter. The result is a chicken that is moist, savory and delicious. For gluten free option, substitute the soy sauce with Gluten and Wheat Free Tamari Soy Sauce.
