Lemon, Caper, Tarragon Aioli

Lemon, Caper, Tarragon Aioli is super easy and really delicious and absolutely delicious with Lobster Cakes.

We added fresh tarragon from our garden but you can add or substitute almost any other herb. We like it spicy, so add the hot sauce to your preference and tolerance.

This aioli is super easy and really delicious. We added fresh tarragon from our garden but you can add or substitute almost any other herb. We like it spicy, so add the hot sauce to your preference and tolerance.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp. chopped capers
  • 2 tsp. chopped fresh tarragon
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tbsp. extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp. of Tabasco
  • Salt
  • Freshly ground pepper

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, whisk the mayonnaise with the lemon juice, capers, tarragon and garlic. Whisk in the olive oil in a steady stream and season with salt and pepper and add more or less Tabasco to taste. Use on grilled chicken, pork, fish and shellfish.

Make Ahead

  1. The aioli can be refrigerated overnight.
